How much time u spend per day for modelling?

Lately about 8 hours a month...things have been busy...real life sure can get in the way!

When things are going smooth I can get in about 6 to 12 hours on a weekend and sometimes a few extra hours during the week.

I'm not getting any time right now.  And I have been spending a lot of time sitting there, but not accomplishing anything.

Usually a couple of hours a night.  The bench is in the TV room so the wife and kids watch TV while I putter around at the bench or I watch and build at the same time.  Works out to good family time and bench time at the same time.

same here, and more often it's just an hour or two in the weekends.

I usually spend 12 hrs a week minimum at the bench, but its whats done during that time that counts!  I have a tendency to scrutinize every aspect of the build process, wanting to make sure every I account for every little detail or step.  I also will pore over research matierials like books, magazines and the internet so that the build is as accurate as possible (within reason).  I guess I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up!   That really slows me down and I could easily build twice as many kits if I stopped doing it, 3 times if I was more confident in my skills. 

With my schedule, I'm lucky if I'm able to squeeze in 4-5 hours a week.

Same for me. I just have so much other stuff to do. Once I'm down in my basement, I'm ready to rock though. When I get rolling, I can spend 6 hours working at a time.

Never enough. It's mostly laziness, too tired to sit the bench. Haha Of course work and projects consume time as does my typing this response on FSM. LOL I need to get it done, but I have finished up 2 builds, completed a new build, and am working on a 4th. A banner year for me.

It really depends on 1) my mood, 2) where the kit is in the construction process, and 3) outside influences - like mowing the lawn, changing oil in the car, etc. I guess if everything was averaged out, I probably spend about 2 to 3 solid hours at the bench every day.
