Old Kits

I have recently retaken up model building. I want to know if models built when I was a youngster in the early 70's can still be found or are they gone forever? The problem is that I don't remember who made them and all I can really remember are a couple of things. For instance there was one that was maybe called the Red Baron which was a hot rod (dragster maybe) that had a big German combat helmet with a big iron cross on it. Another was a coffin dragster or funny car with the driver maybe being a skeletin (spelling?). Does this jog anyones memory. If so,please elaborate.
