IMPORTANT: Signups for FSM Forum Convention
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, October 16, 2003 10:25 AM
As many of you may have noticed over the past few weeks, many of us have been planning a "Reunion" as such for all of us ForumFolk here at FSM. As of this writing, the get together will be at Pensacola, FL on Nov 5,6 and 7 of 2004, giving those that need it plenty of time to find a babysitter! The event is still in the planning stages, and any input for events, festivities, etc are more than welcome. Remember, This is YOUR EVENT.

If you are interested in attending, please let us know.by responding to this thread. This does not mean that you are bound to attend, this is just a ballpark for how many reservations, rooms, mouths we will have to feed. If you do not respond, it will be assumed that you have no plans to attend.

This part is critical! We need your support to get this going. Sign up, and be heard. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to check out the appropriately mentioned thread also in this forum. THank you for your time, and see you in Pensacola!

Could you please make next years happen in Orlando?

Tenchi,
If things go well this year, we may try to do the next one in another location, but probably not in Florida. It gives more people a chance to attend, even if not in consecutive years. Of course, all depends on this go 'round. Besides, I drove back and forth from Orlando to Pensacola several times just to see my girlfriend (now wife) so I know how far it is. For me to make this one, I'll be driving almost 1500 miles. Are you sure you can't swing it? Maybe there are other folks from the forum in your area who may be willing to carpool. Worth a shot.

Too bad this convention's not in L.A., Phoenix or even San Diego. I'd love to attend and meet some of my fellow forum members in person. (Maybe if I win the lottery.) On the other hand, the IPMS Nationals will be in Phoenix next year; perhaps I'll meet some of you there!

With this much time available for planning, I should be able to make it. I'll bring my girlfriend at the very least, maybe her two kids as well. I'd surely enjoy the trip and the company.
