Toronto area (GTA) recommendations for LHS?

Sorry I don't venture into this section much, so I missed your thread. Basically, North Star Hobbies in mississauga is probably the best, if not the biggest, and since they merged with Northstar Hobbies, it is even better.

My regular one is called Keith's Hobby Shop. Its located in North York, basically Yonge and Sheppard. Its worth checking out, although in the last few months he's had some problems with his suppliers apparently. I've been going there forever.

Thanks for the heads up!  I'm in and out of Pearson all the time, so I'm going to check this out on one of my upcoming trips.

RTrimmer, Northstar Hobbies is a great place. The best thing about it, it is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Trust me I know. I work at the airport and then fly down the highway to northstar.

I must also recomend Northstar Hobbies and Wheels and Wings (wheelswingshobbies.com) both are simply fantastic shops.

 The cool thing about Ace is that the shop is open Mon-Fri Noon till 9a, Sat 10a-5p and closed on Sunday..

  I pronmise you, you will not be let down..!!! Ronis a awesome person to deal with.. If the chance arises, it would be cool to meet up..!!

I think the next time my business work takes me over a weekend in Toronto, I will definitely check these out - especially "Ace Hobby Shop", which sounds fantastic!  Most of the time I'm in Toronto M-F, and I'd like to check some out within the metro area in Toronto.  

I can't wait to take the opportunity to visit Ace Hobby!

 If I am not mistaken 3Guyz truly do not have a shop set up yet.. I will definitly find out. You can also visit my Local Hobby Shop and this shop is right down the street from my house!!

 It's called Ace Hobby Shop located in Niagara Falls NY. The owners name is Ron Schatzel..

 This is one hellofa shop.. This is the only Mom & Pop shop around. His father & mom opened it up back in either 1947 or 1952 and still going strong.

 You name it, he has it from Models(aircraft, armor, cars, boats, figures, HO & N scale trains) and the reference material.. Its like a mini library..!! After Market accessories as well

 He also has over 1,000 after market decals of various scales, paints and other hobby needs.. So please tell him to stop in and say that you and me sent him.. Laughs

Hi.....Do you consider Buffalo in the GTA? There is a shop called 3GUYZ Hobbies there.....cool bunch of people.

Also.....a FSM type called butz lives around there and he may know some other places.
