Maybe your wife will give in and join you boys. If she can't beat you , she can join you. She'd love to show you up at your own game. We women are never happy with anything less than perfection.

Excellent job. This could be the start of something BIG. My first model, a 1/72 ME 109 was not nearly as impressive and I was 7. I wish I still had it. Don't lose that model. Now your wife has to deal with TWO modelers in the house. I pray she is up to it. Good going.Big Smile [:D]Approve [^]Laugh [(-D]

Looks like he's well on his way to being a master modeler. My first efforts had more glue than styrene and I was 7. My boy has built his first model but it was a snap together. Maybe his next will be a regular kit. Once again very nicely done! Cool [8D]

Good job Zack. You even did my 5 year old a favor. Seeing how you did with glue I think I'll give him a shot at it now.

Murray- My 2 year old is the same way, he likes to sit at the table with me and stack up the paint jars. Trying to teach him his colors before he goes to kindergarden so he can impress his teacher by knowing O.D., rust, gun metal ....

Good job. My little guy isn't quite ready for the kits yet (he's 14 months), but he did start 'stacking' yesterday. Everywhere you go there's toys and blocks and junk piled up as high as he can get it. The first stages of model building??

It's obvious that he's trying to be like his dad. At his age, he's trying to mimic everything he sees. Looks like you have him seeing the right things, and most of all, are spending some good time with him. Wow...a hobby that helps a parent be a better parent... BTW, the kit looks really GOOD!

Make sure when you're done you get a picture of Zac and the finished kit for your photo album. 15 years from now the model may not be around, but the memories will be. Smile [:)]

It might be a neat idea to get a little frame to put a picture like that in and display it behind or in front of the model when it's done.
