Old IPMS issues
Posted by stikpusher on Saturday, April 5, 2008 3:07 PM
I was going through my library and dug out all my old IPMS issues from 76-83 when I was a young member before I dropped out due to enlisting in the Army. Now I know why its good to keep this old stuff. All sorts of great reference materials of kits(ships, planes, armor) from that time period: camo patterns with FS numbers for all sorts of stuff F4 SEA wraparound, F-16, F/A-18, A-10 developmental paint schemes, pre MERDC VII Corps M-60 camo pattern, lots of BiCentenial commemorative schemes... the list goes on and on. Now I am going back and marking those itmes of most interest to me. If anyone is looking for stuff from that time period, shoot me a PM and I'll see if it's in there.

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

I have tons of mags that I was thinking of tossing but just the other day I decided to go through them and catalog the necessary info and pics for future reference and builds.

I'm also glad I didnt toss them.
