Identifying some verlinden stuff
Posted by Redfinger on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 12:49 AM

SO I recentl made a bulk purchase from a local guy, the pruchase inlcuded several kits and to my suprise quite a few boxes of some verlinden resin extras!

I did have one question about the US military cargo WWII model# 1684.

I am hoping someone else who has worked w/ this kit might now what I am looking for.  Anyway, the boxart of the box shows what is in the kit, there is a radiator looking thing at the front of the "stowage" compartment, I am not looking at the plane engine, it is just beyond that between the two machine guns...so if anyone can follow what I am talking about and knows what that thing is please let me know...

thanks

i'm looking at the photo on Verlinden's site and it looks like another of the radial engines between the two forward mounted .50s. The radial engines were used on M4 and M4A1 variants of the Sherman tank as well as the WWII LVT series of Amtracs for their powerplants.
