Hey, if you're in a rental, distance is no problem, and you're up for a bit of a road trip, try running up to Greeley to Don's Hobbies & Tropical Fish.  They used to be a huge 3 story outfit with RC on 2nd floor, models on ground floor, trains in the basement, and slot cars on the 3rd story.  They've moved into a new building and had to downsize quite a bit, so they are about a 1/3 of what they used to be, unfortunately, but I would say they're still comparable to Colpar and for the most part are well stocked and have a good variety of stuff.  They also got into fish.  They are located out on 10th St.

"Some say the alien didn't die in the crash.  It survived and drank whiskey and played poker with the locals 'til the Texas Rangers caught wind of it and shot it dead."

I did a Google of Aurora and it looks like it is easy to get to from Denver.  I'll place it on my list of things to do (at the top).  Thanks everyone.

My wife is going TDY to Denver in July for training on the new military credit card program.  I have agreed to carry her bags on the trip.  Big Smile [:D]   Can anyone give me any information on hobby shops in Denver.  We will be staying in the center of downtown.  Distance is no problem as I will have a rental car.  Thanks in advance.
