DJ, I am still waiting to see if the shops will have the Revell 1/144 kits by mid December. They said they will have but you know I can be sure until I see it.

Don't know how easy it is to find models of the production Concord, but saw 3 Doyusha kits in my local LHS.

Not sure if I can name the store online, but if anyone want to know give me a shout.

Dwight, we do not have to start right away... Maybe give people a couple of weeks or a month to find the kit they want and then we can start... What do you think?

Darren, indeed the best 1/144 Concorde is the Revell kit. Glad to have you onboard... Do you have yours already?

While I am mostly into armor now, my first interest was A/C and have built a couple of modern jets and helos. I have not tried airlines yet. I think the only Concorde Kit that I have seen so far is the Revell 1/144.

I think this is a good idea in honor of that wonderful bird. I am not sure however if I could count myself in with 3 kits still to be built.

Hey DomiSmile [:)],

sounds like a good way for me to get into a group build for the first timeBlush [:I]. I've been asked to build one by a friend. It looks like I'll be using the Revell 1/144 kit as my research suggests it's the best one out there.

If anyones built this kit before, feel free to guide me through itClown [:o)]

Later,

Darren.

Challenge..! Concorde Group Build...

With Concorde's last scheduled flight still very fresh in our minds, what about a Concorde Group Build..?

There's a few airline modeler in here, but there a lot more who I bet have never built an airliner, let alone an airplane! Think it's easy? Think again and give it a try... (that's the challenge). Smile [:)]

We'll take any scale, any kit, provided it's a Concorde, and why not Evil [}:)], allowing any other SST model, fictional or real, as well...
