                        Mostly at winter time, but also during the rest of the year on a regular base if possible. The Airbrushing sessions has to wait until an afternoon, due to the fact that I do airbrushing in my bedroom ( workbench is up there.)Big Smile [:D]

                        Winter, provides the best opportunity...usually busy with outdoor activitiy the rest of the year. Just moved north from the south so this winter should be much longer and colder. Great!!! more time to be indoors with the wife, kids, and hopefully some great kits.

                        All year. Summer I usually get a lot of body shells painted (I spray can outside) ready for assembly during the winter. As Christmas-New Year is the long summer break here in the southern hemisphere I usually get time to complete 2 or 3 over that 3 week period. I have been know to take models on holiday, usually when they're at the decalling stage and do that in an evening or 2. Any wet weekend is good too, any time of the year.

                        Just before christmas...ie now.

                        Seems like I'm always working on some model to give someone for christmas.

                        A fully restored scratchbuilt rigged galleon for my family in law, a 1st gen rx7 for my brother (decked out with all his details) and a MGB from Airfix that I'm converting into an american-drive, rostyle wheel, and newer console car.

                        Whew!! if I make it...I think there might be some happy people out there! Smile [:)]

                        A no-brainer...winter, especially here on the East Coast when the weather is usually lousy....although I must admit, if I find a particularly desirable model, I'll jump right on ito matter what the month!
                        Right now I'm looking for the Skybow 35 scale US WWII 3/4ton Weapons Carrier WC51/52, a vehicle I drove which carried my radios and a 50 cal.MG while I was fighting with the 25th Infantry (Tropic Lightning) Division on Luzon in April, 1945. Loved that truck!

                        Year 'round is the best time of the year to model! That being said the coldest part of the winter is a good time and conversely the dog days of summer (in southern Texas the mercury often rises above 100 degrees, not to mention the humidity and being from Houston, the air quality is sub par) are great days to stay inside and work on those models!

                        I hope no later than 2005! My wife is getting straight "A" and has been able to bypass a few classes so we are really ahead of schedule. I'm kicking around the idea of getting back into hobby show vending and mail order. A club does sound real good, doesn't it!Wink [;)]

                        Modeling is not seasonal for me. I build when I can find the time. As far as winter goes, the hot humid weather here in MO is more likely to drive me indoors than the cold weather. Boy I can't wait to move back to MI in 2005.

                        Another winter builder. When the fishing boat comes out in spring the models usually take a back seat. As soon as the boat is put away for the winter its time to model again John

                        Winter AND summer for me. Like Jeeves, I'm a teacher, and have a nice big block of time in the summer for building. As far as winter, building models beats shoveling
                        snow any day!

                        Really hard to say,but I try to model every day at least 1 to 2 hours,Saturday and Sunday if I'm off from work I'll put in 8 to 10 hours a day.

                        For me it's summer. It's vacation here so that's when I can find time to do my modeling continously unlike the other times of the year when I'm very busy and all I can manage is squeezed in an hour or two a week.

                        The activities tend to quiet down in the summer which gives me more time. From Advent through Easter (December to April) it's a great rush so I guess I do more in Summer. It's also nice to have most of Christmas to New-Years free and quiet.

                        All my modeling is done from May to September. In the cold months I can't open a window for ventilation. So in the Winter I'm painting miniatures with acrylics instead.

                        The only problem I face is that, I don't yet have a spray booth and my painting is limited during those months.

                        I am however, looking into picking one up soon!

                        I work year round, as the mood strikes. My model room is downstairs and actually in the summer is cooler than the rest of the house. So alot of times I'll go in there to cool off and model as well.

                        With a wife and 4 kids and work and church and whatever else comes along sometimes modeling gets low priority. But I always get around to it sooner or later!

                        I do my building in the night after dinner usually when the kids are asleep. More often than not the best time for me to model is when there is nothing good on TV. It doesn't really depend on the weather as we only have summer and rainy season here.

                        Anytime (usually at night or weekends) is pretty good, but finer weather usually means that more outdoor activities take precedence.
                        Rainy, humid weather usually stops me from painting, and totally stops me from doing any resin casting.

                        Winter is when I get the most out of modeling. Only because here in Arizona it's cool enough to work in the garage, which is where my modeling shop is located.Big Smile [:D]

                        Winter for me to. Being in construction ,dealing with grading mostly ,wet months seem to give me alot of time off. This winter I should get alot done since I already am looking at at least 6 weeks off my feet again. Already stocking up kits to do now.

                        I would have to agree with winter as well...typically December through April. In the past many models have gone with un-finished bodies due to the location of my former spray painting are and the liquid air we have down here as I call it. Usually by December the mercury drops as well as the humidity. Though this year we have had a very warm October and November..so far! Highs above 80...Ill be glad when it gets cold...who knows maybe this year will be my year and well see a lil sprinkling of snow as we did a number of yrs ago...Wasnt much just enough to show the natives that this white powdery stuff called snow isnt made up by Yankees it really exists! LOL

                        I get two week vacation in winter, two in spring and a month in the summer. A lot of building gets done in that time. During the school year, between coaching and trying to be a student and work, only an hour or two a week get done.
