Shinsengumi decals for figures helped Michael dress his 1/35 scale crew in 1980s military fashion for duty aboard an OH-6 Cayuse. Both helicopter and crew are from Dragon. Michael loaded the Cayuse with control panel wiring, an MV Products headlight, Eduard photoetched metal, and customized decals. “The map in the observer’s lap is one of my old maps with an artillery overlay marked on it, scanned and scaled down,” says Michael, who similarly scaled up an aerial photo for display.
