“bronzed” 7"-tall (about 1/12 scale) figures from the Hasbro “Star Wars
Unleashed” series by stripping their original paint, coating them with Krylon
flat black, then dry-brushing with Triangle Crafts “blonde bronze metallic
surfacer.” Teal pastels brushed into the recesses depicted oxidation. He built
the display stand using basswood, spare model parts, “even clothespins,” he
says.
