Bruce built
a Revell “Smithsonian Edition” 1/32 scale F4F-4 Wildcat, installed a motorized
prop of his own design, and dressed it up with overlapping national insignia as
seen early in World War II. “I’m not certain if -4s carried these red-centered
stars, but I do have photos to prove the -3s did!” he says.
