“I wanted to
make something to represent the Irish Army Ranger Wing’s 30th Anniversary,”
Alan says. “Using Dragon’s 1/35 scale Dragon Seal Team 3, I painted the camo
scheme of the Irish Defence Forces’ Ranger Wing Divers and added MP5 SMGs from
my spares box.” Alan made the base from sheet styrene and wood, used filler on
the wall, painted with various shades of Humbrol gray, and applied Pledge Future
floor polish for wet spots. He printed Irish Defence Forces markings from the
Internet and laminated them on the base.
