“Eagle 10 powering up
for a scientific survey,” writes Steve. He built Replica Unlimited’s 1/48
scale “Space: 1999” Eagle transporter and Small Art Works’ “spine booster”
with heavy modifications, including some kitbashing and turned-aluminum engine
nozzles. “The gantry section also is custom built of kitbashed leftovers from
old Airfix kits,” he says. Markings come from JBOT decals. Steve spent more
than 1,500 hours on the project.
