Using Tamiya’s 1/35 scale King Tiger and various resin and
injection-molded figures, Royston shows “a mixture of SS, fallschirmjäger, and heer
troops in the savage last few days of fighting in Berlin, 1945,” he says. He
used Vallejo Model Color and Tamiya acrylics on the vehicle and base, but
painted the figures with enamels for the uniforms and artist’s oils for
the flesh as well as for washes.
