Dave had some Pacific theater fun with his Tamiya 1/48 scale F4U Corsair. It’s “basically out of the box,” he says, “with a touch of extra detail and a lot of weathering from wind-blasted coral sand. The palm trees are handmade from real leaves, serrated and painted, with nutmeg kernels for coconuts.”
