“I picked this model because it was an interesting subject and quite large,” Scott says of his HobbyBoss 1/72 scale ‘Dora.’ He finished the gargantuan rail gun with Testors Model Master and Humbrol paints, Tamiya Weathering Master chalks, and assorted artist chalks. The gun’s recoil sections are covered in matte aluminum Bare-Metal Foil. “This was 110 hours of pure enjoyment,” he says.
