“I
call it ‘On Patrol,’” Timothy says. “It’s in northern France, late summer
1944.” He manned and surrounded Tamiya’s 1/35 scale Universal Carrier Mk.II with
Tamiya figures and built his own display base for the scene. He painted the
groundwork with hobby acrylics “with many, many layers of dry-brushing,” he
says. He used automotive pinstriping for weapon and helmet straps.
