Dragon 1/35 scale Tiger

Bob Marchetti

Bob built Dragon’s 1/35 scale Tiger with “very little modification except imagination,” he says. “It took four days to build and three days to photograph.”

Hey Bob, good job! I really liked the thought and effort you put into the photography, it looks very realistic. I've been building my Tiger I since Oct 2011 off and on. I hope I can make mine look as good as yours when it's finished. Jim

Wow, what a great lookin' photo! Would like to see more of your work. Nicely done Bob.

Overall looks really good. Chain in front looks unrealistic and jewelry chain like - pls take this as constructive criticism as that's how it is meant.

Nice work on the model and photo. The chain in front, did you see one like that or was it just a good idea?

    Give him a pullitzer-price! What a picture.

Nice guys with comments, nice picture bad execution. The chain would be so heavy that it would take a crane to get it off of the tank. Nothing was stored on the tiger's fenders, and it looks like the builder emptied every decal he had on this poor tiger

The over-abundance of decals and the out-of-scale chain aside, wow, what photograph! How did you get that sort of 'Winter War' with a smoking 88mm effect? Lighting, camera settings, backdrop? I'd sure like to get that same kind of mysterious winter battlefield atmosphere as a backdrop for one of my winter camo models. Bravo!

I can hear the 'CRASH' of that 88 lighting off....superb photo, nice weathering. Chain may be a but funky but the weathering on that is sweet nonetheless.

I think it is an awesome photo of a model
