“This is a 1/32 scale scratchbuilt replica of my 1/1 scale Grumman AA1A Trainer,” Barney says. “I made the plans from small three-view drawings in the maintenance manual and scaled them in CorelDRAW 10. The model is built from Evergreen sheet and tube styrene with a vacuum-formed canopy and engine cowling. It has full lighting, sound, and prop motion courtesy of Dynamic Scale Models.”
