“I wanted to capture an Apollo 14 scene other than Al Shepard’s golf shot,” John says. So, he modified two 1/32 scale EVA Models figures and scratchbuilt an MET (modular equipment trailer). He says, “It took about a month to add all the gizmos they used, not to mention the trailer.” He painted the astronauts by hand, including the visor reflections, and used Sculpey for the surface.
