Natale Musso
Genoa, Italy
Natale chose Dragon’s Tiger I Ausf E, “because it is one of the best 1/72 models available,” he says. He hand-brushed the camouflage, then weathered and washed the tank with acrylics. Embellishments include: a crew from Mig Productions; a metal gun barrel from Aber; and an MG 34 machine gun from MMS. He finished with Humbrol enamels, Vallejo acrylics, and chalk pastels, then locked it down with a final clear, flat coat of Vallejo spray. “Tiger No. 3, sPzAbt 502, is reproduced not in the usual winter camo but as if it had survived to the summer of 1943,” Natale says.
