“This is my first attempt at a diorama,” Dean says. He built Trumpeter’s 1/32 scale MiG-29K Sea Fulcrum and painted it with his own color mixture. “I don’t remember how I got the color, as I mixed loads of different blues and grays, but I think it's right,” he says. He scratchbuilt wing folds, cockpit and landing gear details, the crew ladder, “and the chains were a cheap necklace,” he says. He finished with Tamiya acrylics and Revell clear.
