James painted Tamiya’s 1/48 scale Bf 109E-3 in his favorite scheme. “I think this plane looks best in desert colors,” he says. “I airbrushed Tamiya paints and weathered the model with artist’s oils. Everything is sealed under the flat coat, which I mix with Tamiya flat base and Pledge Future floor polish.”
