Sandy McRorie, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
In World War II, a British retort to German panzerjägers was the Valentine Archer 17-pounder self-propelled gun. Sandy built Accurate Armour’s 1/35 scale kit with Friulmodel tracks, an aluminum barrel, and Aber photoetched-metal details to model a member of Toronto’s 7th Anti-tank Regiment, R.C.A. 1st Canadian Corps, Cesena, Italy, 1944. Great job!...Nice to see Canadian armour represented.
Looks so much like a German AFV I had to look twice. Still, open-topped, unlike a Stug III or IV or a Panzerjaeger IV, so the crew is subject to injury or death from shell bursts. Nice job! Historically very interesting. Canadian WWII armor is underrepresented in plastic kits.
Great subject.....
Great job.....
