John enjoyed Dragon’s 1/48 scale Junkers Ju 188 “German Luftwaffe high-performance medium bomber,” he says. “The kit has a lot of interior details, with some photoetched-metal parts and resin wheels.” He applied Testors Model Master paints and oil washes.
Great lookin' 188! Very nice paint and weathering. I've been thinking about building one for my collection. Your's has inspired me to go for it. Excellent work John!
Excellent finish on your Ju 188 John, the top surfaces look very realistically weathered and faded without going overboard.
Nice build and great camo job!
Very nice job on the camo.
Very nice convincing realistic job. Was wondering how you got the little wiggly line camo on the wings? Airbrush or hand-painted? And if it was airbrushed, did you use a special fine needle and head? I do know what they say about air-brushing camouflage: Practice, practice, practice!
Superb weathering! Excellent camouflage !
John, Awesome paint job. Very realistic with good weathering. Nice work!
Beautiful job!
Thanks for the nice comments. I did use my airbrush on the camo,
I also cut the panel lines.

Nice build, Great Camo job. Maybe a few chips of paint on the Props, & dirty up the wheels a bit would add a little umf to your War Bird. Just saying. .
Really nice job mate!! Great weathering and accents too.
very nice work John
Nice, have one in my stash. Think I will have to pull it out...
Awesome!
