Paul Tosch, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

“I am 71 and have been modeling since I was 11,” says Paul. “I have always admired the 1954 Oldsmobile F88 concept car, but I could never find a model. So, I decided to scratchbuild one. I started with a Revell 1/24 scale 1953 Corvette and created the new shape with Tamiya epoxy putty. The interior and grille are wood, the rear bumpers and exhaust outlets are aluminum. The rest of the chrome is Bare-Metal Foil. I painted it with Testors gold enamel and added an acrylic clear coat.”
