Richard Wojak, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
Richard says, “After the Lancaster’s impressive performance at the 2010 Abbotsford Airshow, Tamiya’s 1/48 scale kit showed up at the local hobby shop. So, I was inspired to build it.” He added Eduard photoetched-metal interior and bomb bay sets and armed the heavy bomber with Quickboost gun barrels. After finishing with Humbrol paints, Richard weathered with pastels and watercolors.

Love the Lanc. My grandfather-in-law was flying them.
Lovely rendering, Richard. I believe that would be the Mynarski Lancaster from our Warplane Heritage Museum here in Hamilton. One of only two Lancs in the world still flying today.
