Tamiya 1/48 scale A-1J Skyraider - January 2013

Ken Meyer, Colorado Springs, Colorado

“Loaded for bear,” is how Ken describes his Tamiya 1/48 scale A-1J Skyraider after hanging some aftermarket napalm canisters on the wings. “The Skyraider was the ammo dumptruck of Vietnam,” he says.

Photo shop in some tropics and you'd smell the fear of those that faced this war-horse , and hear the cheer of the troops as these Sandy's provided close air support for. Got this one in my get it built stash, realistic job ,right down to the dirty center tank !
