“Bail out!” is what Ryan named his 1/35 scale diorama, which features a Tamiya M4A3 Sherman and figures from Verlinden and Masterbox. He scratchbuilt an interior for the tank (“even though it cannot be seen now,” he says) and added wire for grab handles. Drywall compound forms the groundwork; for vegetation, he used Woodland Scenics static grass “and some plant material I found outside.”
