Dave Fassett, Saginaw, Texas
Dave built kitbashed a 1/72 scale AH-64A Apache, finished it with Testors Model Master and Tamiya acrylics, and says, “This build represents an Alpha model Apache Devil’s Dance from the 1st Battalion, 229th Attack Helicopter Regiment, C Company, also known as ‘Blue Max.’ This project took me a little more than three years to build. It comprises parts from four kits — two Academy, one Hasegawa, and one HobbyBoss — aftermarket sets from CMK and Eduard, and more than 1,200 scratchbuilt pieces.”
