Ron built the Airfix 1/72 scale RAF Rescue Boat, “the whaleback early version which used the yellow upper decks,” he says. “The model comes with additional rear guns, but earlier in the war the rear deck was not strong enough for the heavier gun. The model has hatches opened and ready to receive casualties.”
