Nigel Fitton, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
It’s a small matter, really: Nigel built Trumpeter’s 1/72 scale Sturmpanzer IV “Brümmbar” to depict a machine he saw on display at the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum. He painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with Vallejo products.
This is the Aberdeen Sturmpanzer IV “Brümmbar” as it looked in Maryland before being transported to Oklahoma where it received a new dungel gelb paint job with red brown camo spots. Always wondered whether the grey green with yellow camo was in fact the way it looked when it was captured in Italy, or whether the US curators did it on their own? Nice job for a model this small. Recreates the 'feel' of the original Aberdeen “Brümmbar”.
Here's a picture of the Aberdeen Brummbar as it looks today at Fort Sill in Oklahoma:

It's got a new dunkel gelb and rot brawn paint job too.
