“It’s my first 1/35 scale diorama,” says Ron. He featured a Tamiya 1/35 Early Tiger I that he built in 1969; an unidentified Panther brings up the rear, while Tamiya infantry figures fan out. Ron painted with Testors Model Master and Tamiya colors. Trees to the right are bush twigs with Woodland Scenics greenery and colored lichen attached; the evergreens at left are scratchbuilt from wooden dowels and plastic plant décor from Hobby Lobby.
