Randolph Voorhis, Endicott, New York
The M20 Armored Utility Car, or M20 Scout Car, was a variation of the M8 Greyhound with an open top instead of a turret. Randolph built Italeri’s 1/35 scale kit.
Using natural outdoor lighting with a forest backdrop makes this 1/35 M20 look so real you'd think it was full-size.
One of my first models (Revell?) and texturized with fingerprints! Nice work, especially the setting. Much nicer than mine!
Well done. Nicely photographed.
Looks almost real, the scale is hurt by the " timber" behind the MG ring and no weight on tires. Otherwise, it looks drivable right off the page. Nice weathering, especially mud spray under fenders.
Nice work I agree I really like the weathering under the fenders!!!
I like the amount of weathering; it just seems perfect in this example. The amount you chose ended up with a natural and realistic look, which I think is the goal. Outstanding, Randolph.
