FSM readers have often sent a picture of their workshop. But a 1/10 scale model of it? Nelson scratchbuilt his, “Because it’s too hard to acquire accessories to dioramas,” he says. “For example, the Phantom on the table is 1/350 scale from Tamiya.” Contests have been receptive to Nelson’s project, which has won more than a dozen trophies.
