Big Bf 109: Joseph loaded Trumpeter’s 1/24 scale Messerschmitt with a Verlinden update set, True Details wheels/tires, Eduard photoetched-metal seat belts, Master Model MG131 gun barrels, Eagle Strike decals, and scratchbuilt lines and hoses for fuel and engine coolant. He painted the engine and interior with Testors Model Master Acryl and the exterior with Vallejo acrylics, then weathered with Mig pigments. Joseph says, “I had built a 1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 that got destroyed a few years back, so I decided to build another that was bigger, better, and stuffed with more detail. I had loads of fun building this thing!”
