Michael writes: “It’s the B-17F Beats Me! lost in action January 23, 1943. I built this display for a co-worker. His father, Charles Roth, was the radioman and one of only three who made it out.” Michael beefed up Revell’s 1/48 scale Memphis Belle with Monogram B-17G details. Stencils and numbers are hand-cut. Michael used leftover rigging from a USS Constitution for radio aerials and found the display case at a yard sale.
