“The model was built as a gift for my father, who owned the real thing as his first car in the late 1950s,” says Thomas of his AMT/Ertl 1/25 scale 1936 Ford roadster. He painted it with Rust-Oleum and Testors Model Master enamels. Scratchbuilt details on the flathead V-8 engine include ignition wiring, exhaust header, throttle and accelerator linkages, and radiator support rods.
