Jimmy writes, “I built Trumpeter’s 1/48 scale Wellington because I had a story for it from a German sailor who worked on a rescue ship in Holland recovering planes from the Zuiderzee. One night, a German night fighter shot down this Wellington. The next day, the ship recovered it from the bottom. I have many photos of this.”
