Dan built Tamiya’s 1/12 scale kit of the Ducati 900 replica motorcycle celebrating “Mike the Bike” Hailwood’s 1978 victory in the Tourist Trophy, the famous road race around the Isle of Man. Ducati’s website says, “Created for hard-core Ducatisti, the bike was not even fitted with an electric starter. Stately and impressive, it was truly a biker’s bike.”
