Cody built Monogram’s 1/25 scale Kurtis Kraft Indy Racer to depict the 1956 Filter Queen Special driven by Rodger Ward, painting it with Tamiya metallic red and a Testors lacquer clear coat. The Firestone tire logos are from Indycals. Cody says, “My father photographed Indy cars when he was young and got me interested in these amazing machines. The 500 has seen such a vast array of machines, from roadsters to turbine-powered cars. I have four of these Kurtis Kraft Indy cars built, thanks to Indycals and the variety of schemes it offers!”
