Mark studied the ship of the original TV series to build an accurate model with Moebius’ 1/4105 scale Battlestar Galactica, drilling out portholes and threading fiber-optics to those he wanted to light. He says, “I used warm, white LEDs, diffused, to get the correct scale for the lighting. They used incandescent lighting on the miniature. I also weathered the model to scale. The rear engines flicker to depict the massive engines.” Mark airbrushed the ship with Testors Model Master paints.
