Mike McFadden

Glendale, Arizona

“A driver tries to explain his situation to local police,” says Mike, describing the story line of a diorama he calls “Don’t Type and Drive.” He perched Jordan Highway Miniatures’ 1/87 scale 1914 Model T on a bridge scratchbuilt from styrene and spanning a river of Woodland Scenics Realistic Water, Water Effects, and Pledge FloorCare Multi-Surface Finish. The car is detailed with new gears, foot pedals, tissue-paper for the windshield cover and collapsible roof, and a photoetched-metal steering wheel.
