Jim gave his Testors 1/48 scale F2H-2 Banshee a modified cockpit from a P-59, rebuilt the engine intakes and exhausts, scratchbuilt a nose-gear well and enlarged weapons pylons, and spray-painted with Testors Model Master from a can, using Humbrol aluminum for the leading edges and Floquil ocean gray for internal surfaces. Jim makes full disclosure: “The squadron letters WF are wrong for the Banshee, but they're the only white letters I had.”
