Randy writes, “This is an older 1/48 scale Model USA O-1E Bird Dog, a forward air control craft. I found a photo of this mysterious half-breed: The U.S. Air Force had won an argument with the Army over who could fly over the battlefield. The Army lost and the Air Force claimed all aircraft working over the battlefield above 5,000 feet. The photo showed the half-Army/half-Air Force result. Something made me do it.”
