RealSpace Models 1/72 scale Redstone Mercury comprises nine resin parts, one photoetched-metal part, one styrene tube, and decals, but Robert added weld seams, fill ports, and other details to replicate Freedom 7, in which Alan Shepard made the first manned Mercury flight to become the first American in space on May 5, 1961.
