This Eduard 1/48 scale Fokker E.V is Krzysztof’s tribute to Stefan Bastyr, gunner, observer, fighter pilot, and commander of Lewandówka Aerodrome and Air Group Lviv. Krzysztof writes, “One of two ‘crazy Stefans’ (along with Stefan Stec), the founders of Polish aviation, Bastyr died in the Polish-Soviet War on Aug. 6, 1920, allegedly due to some kind of fainting during flight. He was known to have heart problems.”
