The Transall C-160 is named for the consortium that built it: Transporter Allianz, comprising MBB, Aerospatiale, and VFW-Fokker. Originally developed as a cargo transport for France and Germany, it was also sold to South Africa and Turkey and to civilian customers worldwide since its first flight in 1963. Berk built Revell’s 1/220 scale kit.
